Routine childhood immunisation programme
Each vaccination is given as a single injection into the muscle of the thigh or upper arm

We run a child immunisation clinic every Monday in the surgery from 1.30-3.45pm. If you think your child may not have received all the above vaccinations or you have any queries, please contact one of our Practice Nurses.
Please note that we do not send out reminder letters when vaccines are due.
Non-routine immunisations
In addition to the above, all babies born in the Islington area will receive a vaccine against tuberculosis (called the BCG vaccination) given by the Health Visitor shortly after birth. However if for some reason your child has not received this vaccination they can be given it up to the age of 12 months from several local clinics.
